Da ich momentan in der Planung zum Musikvideo bin, schreibe ich heute mal über mein Lied “mirror mirror”.
Wie ich vielleicht schon mal erzählt habe, war es der Start meines Albums.
Die Geschichte dahinter ist wirklich düster, falls ihr Euch dafür interessiert, dann schaut hier.

Aber unabhängig der düsteren Geschichte… Was will ich mit dem Lied sagen?

Kennt ihr die Menschen, die sich in Euer Leben einmischen wollen um Euch zu “helfen”? Diejenigen, die Euch sagen wollen, was Ihr besser anzieht und wie ihr Euch besser verhalten solltet? Und Euch sagen, dass Ihr Euch verändern sollt und ja nicht Ihr selbst bleiben dürft?

Yes, die kenne ich auch. Und das Lied ist quasi ein musikalischer Mittelfinger an diese Menschen. Es ist einfach nervig, wenn man von einer oder mehreren Seiten hört, dass man sein Ding nicht so durchziehen kann, wie man möchte. Und das Andere einem vorschreiben wollen, ab wann man erfolgreich wird, wie man so viel besser wäre, blablabla.
Als ich das Lied geschrieben habe, war ich in einem unglaublich großem Tief. Ich hatte kurz davor beschlossen, Musik zu machen, um Leuten zu helfen und habe mein ganzes Gefühlschaos in dieses Lied gesteckt. Ich stellte mir vor, was gewesen wäre, wenn dieses dünne Model nicht einfach aufgegeben hätte, sondern wie ein Phönix aus der Asche allen genau DAS gesagt hätte. “Live your Life, don’t look at me. I don’t care, what you see”. Und sie nicht gestorben wäre…

Denn niemand sollte einem vorschreiben, was gut und was schlecht ist. Und falls doch, kann man sich doch ordentlich wehren, oder? Und so entstand das Lied.
